This piece was turned from Oak and Camphor.  The waves were painted in oil and the fish is copper and gold leaf with a light chemical patina.

The vase measures 10 inches high and 10 inches wide.

This was turned from a piece of Oak.  The stand was made from Ebony and Ambosia Maple.

It stands about 9 inches tall.

This piece was turned from a piece of Black Walnut and a piece of Cherry.  This vessel is 6 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide.

The top of this vase had grain that looked like fingers to me so I painted a matching hand and arm on the bottom.  The unpainted portion of the bottom is copper leaf with a patina.

The vase measures 9 inches high and 7 inches wide.

This piece was turned from a piece of oak that has been soaked in beer and plant food.  The wood is then wrapped in plastic and allowed to sit for a few months.  The mixture causes fungus to grow inside the wood leaving dark streaks through the grain.

The vase measures 11 inches tall and 7 inches wide.
